A few days after the goggle incident, GSG had an evening playdate and somehow it turned into a gymnastics/singing/dance-fest. For almost a hour and a half GSG, her friend, and CB danced and sang and stretched and flipped and cartwheeled their little bodies all over the living room! I got some extremely entertaining video footage of their performances, but I have to say this performance of CB's was BY FAR my favorite of the evening. Guess I put on his Pull-Up for bedtime way too early because he was just getting warmed up. This is what you get when you have a big sister that has listened to this song possibly 100 times! His sister and her friend were less than thrilled with the performance, I, however think he out-did the original.
Journal of my adventures (and misadventures) on this awesome but crazy "trip" called Motherhood. My life raising 2 children -one boy, one girl- while homeschooling, running a household, being a wife and friend without losing my sanity! (assuming I was sane to begin with)

Why Our Bubby is so Cool...
Yesterday was a pretty rough day between Cool Bubby and me. Today is off to a MUCH better start but I felt I needed to post this about him so I can refer back to it the next time he has pushed me to the brink of insanity.
My kids' current favorite fruit is clementines. Daddy brought home a mini crate of them and they were gone within 5 days!!! Both kids loved the fact that they could peel and separate them without any help, however they discovered that kind of independence comes at a price...clementine juice in the eyes. After suffering through one day of burning eyes, Cool Bubby sat down the next morning to eat his first clementine of the day and began to peel. Then he stopped and stared at the orange ball of goodness. He then proceeded to get down out of his chair and walked into the playroom. Just as I was about to chastise him for asking for a clementine and then deciding not to eat it, he grabs his safety goggles off the floor, hops back up in his chair, secures the goggles into place over his eyes, and commences peeling. I could barely contain the giggles inside me. He is definitely my smart little man, the analyzer, the inventor, the problem solver...just like his Daddy. GoSissyGo got a good laugh at him and then realized his goggles were a brilliant idea and she went to get our 'Despicable Me' minion goggles to protect her eyes. Oh, my darling clementines....
